Jessica M. McDill obtained her law degree in 1995 from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.  While attending law school, she was a member of the Cumberland Trial Advocacy Board, Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and served as a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow. She has engaged in the private practice of law with the firm since 1995, primarily in the area of civil litigation, including personal injury defense, construction, real estate, and probate matters.  She is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in southwest Alabama and regularly represents clients in trial and appellate matters.

Ms. McDill is presently a member of the Alabama State Bar, a Fellow of the Alabama Law Foundation, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and member of the Alabama State Bar Client Security Fund Committee.  She also serves as a Special Circuit Judge for the Twenty-Eighth Judicial Circuit and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Baldwin County Drug Court Foundation, Inc.  She is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association, having served as its President from 2007 to 2009, as the Baldwin County Bar Representative on the Judicial Selection Committee for the Twenty-Eighth Judicial Circuit from 2012 to 2018, as a member of the Baldwin County Bar Grievance Committee for eight years, as a member of the Practice and Procedures Committee, and as a Director of the Baldwin County Bar Foundation, Inc.
