Stephen A. Walsh is a Partner in the Birmingham office of Adams and Reese LLP, a southeastern regional law firm. His practice focuses on the representation of businesses in employment and commercial matters and litigation‚ particularly involving the financial services‚ real estate, manufacturing, construction and transportation industries. Stephen is an experienced litigator and represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including litigation and arbitration throughout the Southeast. He also advises employers and provides training and counseling on EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and state employment law compliance. He also assists in the drafting and revising of employment policies and procedures, employee handbooks and employment contracts, including non-compete agreements, trade secret agreements and arbitration agreements. Stephen received his B.S. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from The University of Alabama. While in law school, Stephen was a Hugo L. Black Scholar.
