Chapter 13 Standing Trustee

Michele T. Hatcher was appointed Chapter 13 Standing Trustee for the Northern District, Northern Division of Alabama in June 2017.  Prior to her appointment, Ms. Hatcher served as staff attorney to Michael Ford, Chapter 13 Standing Trustee for the Northern District, Northern Division of Alabama, for three years.  Before joining the Trustee’s office, she was managing partner of Bond, Botes, Sykstus, Hatcher & Tanner, P.C., located in Florence AL, where she specialized in representing consumer bankruptcy debtors for approximately seventeen years.  Ms. Hatcher received her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1996 and her undergraduate degree in commerce and business administration from The University of Alabama in 1993.  She is a member of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees and serves as the Chapter 12 Case Trustee for the Northern District, Northern Division of Alabama.
