J.C. Lentine graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (“UAB”) in 2017 with a degree in Psychology. During his time at UAB, he was a teacher’s assistant for the university’s undergraduate anatomy lab where he instructed lab courses for 2 semesters. J.C. then went on to attend the Cumberland School of Law and graduated in 2020. While at Cumberland, J.C. was a member of the law school’s National Trial Team where he competed in several mock trial competitions across the country. He was also a member of Cumberland’s Trial Advocacy Board where he went on to help coordinate different in-school trial competitions. J.C.’s legal practice primarily focuses on criminal defense, domestic relations,
and family law. He has been selected by the Best Lawyers in America to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list for 2026 in the areas of criminal defense (general practice) and DUI/DWI defense. Outside of his legal work, J.C. also coaches the mock trial teams and teaches trial advocacy at Birmingham School of Law.
