Mr. Reed received his B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Alabama, with a major in accounting. He presently serves as Deputy Superintendent of the Alabama Banking Department, where he oversees the day-to-day operations of the department, including supervision programs for AmSouth, Compass, Regions, and SouthTrust, along with approximately 130 community banks.
