Description

Alabama has animal laws on a range of topics that are scattered in the Code of Alabama. Many of the laws are not enforced or prosecuted consistently. Most laws are not understood by the public, leading to unrealistic expectations of enforcement officials or efforts to enact new laws that could weaken those hard gained more than 25 years ago. This program will provide you with some practical information to help you understand the current landscape of animal laws in Alabama, enforcement issues and how those relate to your practice of law.
