Sydney Duncan

Sydney Duncan is a woman of trans experience and is the director of The Magic City Legal Center at Birmingham AIDS Outreach, the only LGBTQ-focused, pro bono legal clinic in the state of Alabama. She has been featured on PBS NewsHour and written about in Rolling Stone, The Washington Post, NBC News, The New York Times and other press for her advocacy for trans and LGBTQ rights. She lives with her wife, two children, and two mismatched cats in Birmingham. In her part time, Sydney is a writer for Dark Horse Comics and managed by Jon Levin of Sustainable Imagination (formerly of CAA) as a writer for film and television.
