Matt Self
University of Alabama
Mr. Self is a 2002 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. He was in private practice in Huntsville until 2008 when he joined the UA Athletics Department where he has been in athletics compliance for the last 15 years, working most closely with the Football program. During that time, he has been promoted to oversee Compliance, Strength and Conditioning, Sports Medicine, Nutrition, Equipment and serves as the sport oversight for Football and Volleyball. Mr. Self is also heavily involved in Risk Management and is one of the primary liaisons with UA General Counsel and outside counsel.
