Judge Joanne Jannik
6th Judicial Circuit, District Court
Judge Jannik received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Alabama, and her Law Degree from Birmingham School of Law. She has served as District Court Judge in Tuscaloosa County since January 2017. Prior to that, she was in private practice in Tuscaloosa, where she handled an array of cases, including criminal, juvenile dependency and delinquency matters, domestic and general litigation. Judge Jannik has served as a Criminal Justice Act Advisory Board Member since 2012.
