JEREMIAH M. HODGES is the principal of Hodges Trial Lawyers, P.C., where  he primarily represents persons who have been injured by the negligent  conduct of corporations and other individuals. As a lawyer for injured  persons, he has spent the majority of his career representing the  victims and survivors of 18-wheeler wrecks, car wrecks, and motorcycle  wrecks.  He has also handled cases involving nursing home abuse and  neglect, defective and unsafe products, assault and battery, and other  sources of personal injury. Mr. Hodges also handles civil litigation and  has worked on lawsuits involving fraud, insurance bad faith,  embezzlement, defamation, invasion of privacy, FCRA/FDCPA violations and  breach of contract. He has handled lawsuits in various counties  throughout Alabama and in several states. Mr. Hodges serves on the  Executive Committee of the Alabama Association for Justice and is a  member of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association.  Mr. Hodges has been  selected by his peers as a “Rising Stars – Alabama by Super Lawyers in  2011 and 2012.  Mr. Hodges has also been selected by the National Trial  Lawyers as one of the Top 40 under 40 in the State of Alabama.  He  earned his B.S. degree, with honors, from the University of Alabama and  his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law  school, Mr. Hodges was a member of the University of Alabama School of  Law's Trial Team for two years. His team won a regional championship and  made it to the national quarter-finals in the American Association for  Justice Trial Competitions in 2003. Mr. Hodges has been a guest lecturer  at legal education seminars in several states.  Mr. Hodges is a member  of the Alabama State Bar and is admitted to practice in all state courts  in Alabama and Tennessee and before the U.S. District Court for the  Northern District of Alabama.
