J. Fairley McDonald, III, is a Montgomery native admitted to practice law in 1980. Prior to joining the Department, he was primarily engaged in the private practice of law. He has been with the Department of Insurance for the last sixteen years and is currently chief counsel and Deputy Attorney General in the Department’s legal division. He is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and the University of Alabama School of Law.
