Eric Snow

Eric S. Snow has been a member of the Tuscaloosa County Public Defender’s Office since 1997, and is currently the Chief Assistant Public Defender. He has represented clients in Tuscaloosa and Northport Municipal Court, Tuscaloosa County District and Circuit Court. Before joining the Tuscaloosa County Public Defender’s Office he was employed with the Law Office of Richard Thompson, and handled a variety of Civil and Criminal cases. He is a 1993 graduate of Livingston University, and a 1996 graduate from the University of Alabama School of Law. He has completed the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute in Macon, Georgia, the Los Angeles County Public Defender Conference on Litigating Forensic Science issues using the National Academy of Science Report, and several leadership training programs. He has presented programs on Trial Preparation, Cross-Examination, Challenging Forensics Evidence, and Mental Evaluation Requests and Process, and Basic Defense Attorney Skills for Continuing Legal Education Programs, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, and several private organizations. He is currently a member of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
