Chip Browder

Mr. Browder received his B.S., magna cum laude; his M.A. in Accounting; and his J.D. from The University of Alabama. He also received his LL.M in Taxation from New York University. He practices in the areas of business acquisitions/sales and disputes; business, corporate and commercial; corporate taxation; elder law; employee benefits; estate planning; partnership taxation; state and local taxation; tax procedure; and dispute resolution. Mr. Browder is a member of the Tuscaloosa County Bar, Alabama State Bar (Sections on Taxation, Probate, Wills and Trusts), and the American Bar Association (Sections on Taxation, Probate, Wills and Trusts). His practice concentration is in the area of business succession and estate tax planning for closely-held and family-owned businesses, which is complemented by his business management background, having managed his family's hardwood veneer business and timber investments in South Alabama for over ten years, prior to returning to Law School.
