Gregory Denny has served as Chair of both the AAJ Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability sections and was the first chair of the Birmingham Bar Workers’ Compensation section. He currently serves as chair of the Alabama Board of Legal Specialization. His practice is concentrated in the areas of workers’ compensation, social security disability and automobile tort litigation. Mr. Denny has written numerous articles and organized several conferences on Alabama Workers’ Compensation law. He also has served as chair of the U.A.B. Philosophy Department’s Advisory Committee.
William V. Powell, Jr.: Mr. Powell’s primary areas of focus have been in the field of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability, SSI and claims for Personal Injuries. Mr. Powell has served as President of the Birmingham Bar’s Workers’ Compensation section and of the Alabama Associations for Justice Workers’ Compensation Section. Mr. Powell is a member of a member of the the National Organization of Social Security Representatives (NOSSCR),, and a member of the Alabama State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section. Mr. Powell h has spoken at various seminars on issues dealing with Alabama’s Workers’ Compensation law..He currently serves as a Deacon at Independent Presbyterian Church.
