Price Evans is Vice President and Commercial Underwriting Counsel at Mississippi Valley Title Services Company and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. He advises Company agents and approved attorneys on title insurance policy coverages and handles commercial real estate transactions throughout Alabama and across the country. Price is a co-author of soon to be published Alabama Property Rights and Remedies, Sixth Edition, professor at Birmingham School of Law, member of the Alabama Law Institute Real Estate Study Committee and a frequent speaker on real property and title insurance matters. 

He is involved with the Alabama State Bar, having served two terms as Chairman of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section and a member of the ASB Leadership Forum Class 15 (2020). Price is also an active member in the Birmingham Bar Association, having served as the Secretary/Treasurer, along with previous officer positions with the Young Lawyers Section, and participant in the Future Leaders Forum (2016). Price also is the Alabama Governmental Affairs Chairman for the Southeast Land Title Association. Price received a B.A. from The University of Alabama and a J.D., with honors, from Birmingham School of Law.

Mr. Givhan received his B.S. from Auburn University and his J.D., cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law. He is a Shareholder and Director at Lanier Ford Shaver & Payne, P.C., where his practice is concentrated in the areas of eminent domain, economic development, commercial real estate, real estate development, and real estate litigation. Mr. Givhan is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association (Treasurer, 1997-1998), the Alabama State Bar and a Commissioner on the Uniform Law Commission. Ms. Harper is a shareholder at Lanier Ford Shaver & Payne, P.C. Ms. Harper’s practice focuses on general corporate matters and M&A transactions.

Ms. Harper frequently negotiates, reviews, and drafts contracts and other commercial agreements for small and medium businesses, including agreements about joint ventures and providing services. She also prepares employment and independent-contractor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, non-competition agreements, licenses, and procurement contracts.

Her experience as corporate counsel gives her unique insight in advising businesses regarding corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, purchase and sale of assets, investor relations, meetings and minutes for meetings of boards of directors, shareholder agreements, equity incentive plans, and stock options.

She has a broad background in day-to-day practical management of company from her in-house experience at a scientific business and a hospitality company. Dr. Evan Moore is Professor of Economics at Auburn University at Montgomery. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. He has published articles in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Economics and Finance, and the International Review of Economics Education. He previously served as Head of the Economics Department, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs, and editor of the Southern Business and Economic Journal. Dr. Moore has presented research at national and international conferences. Finally, he has received funding support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Swedish Competition

Roman was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He attended undergraduate, graduate and law school at the University of Alabama. He practiced law in Tuscaloosa for a couple of years then practiced with the Montgomery, Alabama firm of Beasley Allen for 17 years. As a lawyer, Roman had a multi-jurisdictional practice and was licensed to practice law in 8 states and over 35 federal jurisdictions. He has represented individuals, businesses, insurance companies and state governments. In January of 2017, Roman was appointed as a trial judge in Montgomery County. In June of 2018 he became the General Counsel of the Alabama State Bar. He is married to Caroline Thames Shaul and has three daughters, Anne Kingsley (14), Isabel (13) and Thompson (6).
