Kelli assists all types of clients within the health care industry, including hospitals, surgery centers, physician practices, diagnostic centers, and home health and hospice agencies.  Having a father who is also an attorney, Kelli has been around the profession all her life. She has developed the ability to guide clients in overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities within the legal framework impacting the highly-regulated health care industry. Resourceful and collaborative, Kelli values the interaction she has with her clients and places her focus on assisting them with growing their businesses and achieving their goals.

Walt Green focuses his practice on cybersecurity, white collar criminal defense and governmental investigations, and litigation. Walt served as the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana and the Executive Director for the National Center for Disaster Fraud from 2013-2017. He retired from the United States Department of Justice with over 20 years of federal experience. Walt also served in the United States Marine Corps for over 30 years, retiring with the rank of Colonel.  In addition to defending businesses against cyber class actions in multiple jurisdictions, Walt routinely provides real-time counseling for companies to respond to data breaches and cyber intrusions of their computer systems, including incidents across multiple states. He guides companies through cyberattacks, including C-suite counseling, coordinating forensic efforts, liaising with local and federal law enforcement agencies, and providing domestic and international notification advice.

Walt also advises domestic companies on compliance with U.S. data privacy laws, including the California Privacy Rights Act and other states’ data regulations. He helps multinational companies stay on top of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation and China’s Personal Information Protection Law.  In addition to his cybersecurity practice, Walt defends doctors, nurses, health care systems and health care executives in civil and criminal health care investigations.


Candace Gregory's Profile

Candace Gregory brings a rare combination of civil and criminal litigation experience to her practice. She has tried more than 40 cases to verdict, handled over 100 investigations for a Fortune 500 company, and managed the staffing and oversight of hundreds of government investigations. Candace's practice focuses on litigation, cybersecurity, white-collar defense and investigations, and media and First Amendment law. She is also a trained mediator and is available to act as a neutral third party to assist litigants in resolving their disputes prior to trial. Candace’s pragmatism and fairness on both sides of the court room has made her a sought-after neutral. 

Candace was most recently the Director of the Public Integrity Division and Statewide Coordinator for officer involved shootings for the Attorney General of Mississippi. Prior to that, she was the first hybrid Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) for the Southern District of Mississippi, responsible for litigating both civil and criminal civil rights cases. Additionally, Candace was the coordinator for both civil rights and violent crimes throughout the District.  Earlier in her career, Candace worked as a Public Defender for Hinds County, Mississippi and in private practice in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. She also worked as an Attorney Advisor for the Social Security Administration. While in law school, Candace taught 10th and 11th grade boys at one of Baltimore’s first charter schools, Baltimore Freedom Academy. She also worked as a Clinical law Fellow in HIV/AIDS law.  Candace is committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders. She has coached high school mock trial teams in Maryland and Mississippi. A number of her students pursued legal careers and gained their first professional experience working with her. She is currently an adjunct professor of criminal law and procedure, and business law at South College in Nashville, Tennessee.

Wayne Rogers currently serves as Executive Assistant to Jefferson County Sheriff Mark Pettway. He accepted the appointment to this position in 2019 after practicing law in the Birmingham area for 30 years. Wayne serves on the Board of Directors of Crisis Intervention Teams International (“CITI”), the largest organization in the country dedicated to training law enforcement officers how to deal with individuals in a Mental Health and/or Addiction Crisis. He also serves on the Board of the Craig Crisis Care Center in Birmingham. He regularly teaches Crisis Intervention to law enforcement officers and others at the Sheriff’s Academy and the Birmingham Veterans Administration. He has worked to establish numerous health programs in the Jefferson County Jails, including a telehealth program, a jail-based Competency Restoration Program, and a social services program for HIV-positive individuals, the latter in conjunction with Birmingham AIDS Outreach. Wayne started his career at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Birmingham, serving as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Division from 1989 until 1995. He then spent 21 years as the Managing Counsel of Rogers & Associates, the Travelers Insurance Company Staff Counsel Office for the State of Alabama. In 2016, Wayne retired from Travelers and joined his best friend from law school to form DeGaris & Rogers, LLC, a small plaintiff’s personal injury practice. One of the few things that could have pulled him away from that practice was the opportunity to finish his career in government service, where his career began. Wayne is married to Lauri Sitton Rogers, the CFO of Red Mountain Theatre Company, and they have three adult children and three grandchildren.
