Jason C. Neff has been practicing law in Tuscaloosa for the past twenty-three years. After graduating with a degree in criminal justice from The University of Alabama in 1998, Mr. Neff attended the Birmingham School of Law, and in 2001 was admitted to the Alabama State Bar. Until 2003, Mr. Neff served as Deputy District attorney prosecuting DUI’s and felony drug cases. Since then Mr. Neff has privately been practicing law in Tuscaloosa. Handling all types of cases, from Death Penalty to Misdemeanors, Mr. Neff has represented clients at the local, state, and federal levels. Mr. Neff is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Criminal Defense, and the Tuscaloosa Bar Association; and he is currently the city prosecutor for Centerville, Brent and Northport, as well as the municipal judge for the Town of Brookwood and Town for Vance. Jason has held teh appointment for the CJA Resource Council for the Northern District since February 2021, when he accepted the appointment by the 11th Circuit and continues in that role today. Mr. Neff is licensed to practice in the State of Alabama, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and the Eleventh Circuit.
