J. Winston Busby is a shareholder in Dentons Sirote’s Birmingham, Alabama office. He serves as the co-chair of the Dentons Sirote Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice group. Winston provides counsel to individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, trust planning, wealth preservation, probate, and tax planning, emphasizing strategies to minimize both estate and income taxes. He also works with closely held business owners on a variety of issues, including generational transfers and succession and tax planning. Additionally, he assists fiduciaries with the administration of trusts and estates. Winston has been a frequent speaker and authored numerous publications on transfer tax planning and estate planning.
