Alex Priester, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, graduated from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2020 with her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation. During her time in law school, she was awarded both The University of Alabama Federal Tax Clinic Scholarship and the Justice Janie L. Shores Scholarship and was inducted into the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. In addition to her academic studies, Alex served as a member of the Public Interest Student Board and was awarded the Dean’s Community Service Award, the Student Pro Bono Award, and the Order of the Samaritan for her pro bono and law-related volunteer work. After graduation from The University of Alabama, Alex and her husband Jake moved to Birmingham where she joined the law firm of Dominick Feld Hyde, P.C. as an associate in the firm’s Estate Planning group. During her time at DFH, her practice was primarily focused on estate planning and administration for high-net-worth individuals and their families. After welcoming twin girls in June of 2023, Alex joined the team at Regions Bank in October of 2024 as a Trust Advisor in the Private Wealth Management group. Alex has held a number of elected positions for various sections of both her local and state bar associations, including her term as Vice President for the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar.
