Description
Join us for an in-depth examination of Alabama's Animal Protection Laws, where we'll dissect the current statutes and regulations, as well as the significant impediments to their enforcement and prosecution. Our speaker will discuss the challenges faced by law enforcement, prosecutors, and animal welfare organizations, including limited resources, lack of public awareness, and inadequate penalties. We'll also explore opportunities for improvement, such as increased collaboration, innovative prosecution strategies, and community engagement.

Mindy Gilbert Related Seminars and Products
Recently retired, Mindy has a combined 36 years of employment in animal protection, including
as a nonprofit Humane Society director, a municipal department head, a cruelty investigator
and a State Director with the Humane Society of the United States. She has worked with law
enforcement at the local, state and federal level in enforcement actions to bring animal abusers
to justice. Mindy resides in Jasper Alabama with a much loved and pampered animal family.
