This seminar will discuss recent and forthcoming US Supreme Court cases relating to employment law issues that city and county attorneys may have to deal with.
You must complete this course by 11:59 PM on December 31, 2024 in order to receive credit with the Alabama State Bar.
Allison Chandler practices in the areas of governmental liability, civil rights defense, labor and employment law, insurance defense, construction law, and general civil litigation. She has substantial trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts representing counties and municipalities, governmental officials, and private-sector entities. Her experience extends to cases involving complex civil rights claims pursuant to Section 1983; employment matters under Title VII, the ADA, and the FMLA; land use and zoning disputes; and personal injury defense. She also assists governments and other employers in responding to charges of discrimination and harassment lodged with the EEOC.
